How does my Getabout London Card benefit me?
Getabout London has put together a broad selection of discounts that we feel you will use on an everyday basis. They are real savings.
What discounts am I entitled to?
The are numerous discounts, all of which are listed on
our website discounts and
in the Getabout London directory.
Can I use my Getabout London Card with other discounts
or vouchers?
Getabout London discounts cannot usually be used in conjunction with any other offer. For full details refer to the website discounts and directory. (Exact terms of the offer are listed here).
I'm only in London for a short period of time,
should I still buy a Getabout - London card?
Yes, definitely. The discounts have been selected to be of value to people living in London or just visiting for a short period. The card starts paying for itself almost immediately.
Where do I buy my Getabout London Card?
At the moment the Getabout London Card is only available through via our website and offices. We are introducing a wider card sales network in Spring 2005, visit our website for updates.
How long will it take for my card to get to me?
All cards are sent out within 24 hours of receipt of order. Please refer to our standard delivery guidelines for accurate information.
Is the price of postage included in the card price?
The price of postage is included in cards delivered within the United Kingdom. There will be delivery charge added to cards sent outside of the United Kingdom.
When is my card valid from?
Your card is valid for a full 12 months from receipt of card.
Can other people use my Getabout London Card?
Other people can benefit from your card and purchases, but you are the only person who can actually use the card. Once you have signed the card, you are the cardholder.
What happens if a venue doesn't accept my card
or honour the discount?
This would be very rare. All our members display the Getabout London symbol and are contracted on the actual discount and terms. However, should an incident occur where you card discount is not honoured, please inform us with full details of the incident, which we will then look into.
What do I do if I lose my card?
A return address is listed on the reverse of the card for lost cards. If this is returned to our office we will forward it out to you, if it is not returned, you will have to repurchase the card.
What do I do if I don't want to buy my Getabout
London Card on-line?
Our on-line payment processing is done via WorldPay (a member of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group) and is extremely secure. If you really do not want to order on line, you can fax your order or send it by post with a cheque or postal order. (Print out order form on the "Buy Card" page on the website). Please note: orders received by fax or post take longer to process, please allow a further 5 working days for delivery of such orders.
Are there any other reasons why I should get a
Getabout London Card?
Yes, several. Apart from benefiting from a broad selection of exclusive discounts, Getabout London cardholders are automatically entered into our regular member's draw and can win a number of exciting prizes every month. There are also regular members' competitions. It's a great way to see and experience London with a group of friends.
